Although from the outside it looks like any other home in Bungalow, inside the gates, Ha'veli house is a dreamy haven of tribal elements, earthy tones and tropical infusion. We had the pleasure of staying here with our team while completing our 5 day stint of editorials for volume 71 of Modern Wedding Magazine (onsale now). If you are getting married in Byron Bay, this would be an epic spot for the bridal party preparations. Only 10 minutes to the Byron Bay centre, the house is definitely something special. Here are some of our published photographs featuring the very gorgeous Abbey.
Mature beyond her years, Abbey really embodies the essence of a free spirited Byron bride. Gorgeous, sexy and down to earth. We loved her perfectly messy sun-bleached waves, strong brows and kind auburn eyes.
The best part about this shoot was having the opportunity to stay at Ha'veli house with the team. Although shooting meant intensely long hours, there was something so calming & peaceful about being surrounded by Heidi's world. Tribal antiques, batik cushions, rustic white painted floors, tropical plants & the warmth of the Byron sunshine. Coming from a brand new high rise apartment in Melbourne it felt so grounding to be surrounded by so much wood. We enjoyed our fresh fruit breakfast around the long and very old wooden table and spent our afternoons/evenings lazing in the shade on the most comfortable daybeds with the sun softly streaming through the white painted wooden strip blinds. Kimberlee, Rosemary & Janice were peaceful, easy going & super fun to laze around with. We constantly daydream of those afternoons, especially as the Melbourne winter truely sets in.
